The research from mind included in this Commission above I have inserted some key quotes below.

It has remained a corner stone of this project but has allowed me space to explore these issues in my own way. In particular the resonance and effect of space both created and shared. The social space I mention elsewhere for me contains more than just projections of our needs it seems to echo with our own memories.

 

Figures show Torbay has twice the average number of suicides. The rate for England and Wales is 11.4 per 100,000 population but in Torbay it is 20.7.

The reasons for the high rate in Torbay are unclear but research psychiatrist Dr Peter Aitken says other seaside resorts also have high suicide rates.
